Wexford Youths F.C. Supporters Club Charter
Name:The name of this organization shall be the Wexford Youths F.C. Supporters Club (herein referred to as the Supporters Club).
Statement of Purpose:To promote and support Wexford Youths F.C. League of Ireland Club in its activities, to provide a voice for all supporters and to provide benefits to its members.To promote and support in the community the ethos and aims of the Club. To promote the views and opinions of its membership.
Membership:Membership is open to all, members must complete application form and pay any subscriptions due, membership to be renewed on annual basis.To encourage participation and availability to all, discounted membership rates to be provided: Adult, Family, Juniors & Students.
Meetings:The Supporters Club shall meet no less than once per month during the year.
Executive Committee:The Club shall have a Governing Executive Committee (The Committee).
The Committee shall run the club of behalf of its members and in accordance with the aims and objectives.Although decisions should be arrived at by the consensus of the committee (where possible), committee decisions shall be decided by majority voting.
A quorum shall be 2/3 of committee members.
The Committee shall consist of seven members and a Finance Officer
The Term of Office of these elected officers shall be one year.
A person shall not hold the same office for more than 2 successive years.
Election of Committee:The Committee Members shall be democratically elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) or at an Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM).
Aims:The Supporters Club will endeavour to provide as much information as possible in a timely manner regarding committee meetings and events/information resulting from such meetings. Provide information, photographs, videos etc - made available to its members in printed and electronic/digital form via its website and other more traditional means.
Finances:The Supporters Club is run by volunteers, all funds are raised through a variety of projects, Golden Goals, Quiz Nights etc and through the membership dues.All money raised is to be used for the benefit of the supporters club members and the club, Wexford Youths F.C. Elected Finance Officer and One Committee Member to be authorised signatories to any accounts operated by the Supporters Club.
Committee Members: Committee Members for 2012 as voted for at the Annual General Meeting of the Suppporters Club in January of 2011 are as follows; Elaine Colfer, Jennifer Miller, Joe Moorehouse,Chris McCleane & Rebecca Doyle. Stan Fox elected as Finance Officer.
