Your chance to dunk Mick Wallace

Starting Saturday 28th of November continuing every Saturday night until the 19th of December, The Music Factory Nightclub in Wexford is teaming up with the Tracie Lawlor Trust for Cystic Fibrosis to raise awareness and much need funds to help people with CF and go towards research. Over the next four weeks people from all over Wexford are going to be nominating friends and colleagues to take the Dunk Tank challenge, where somebody takes the hot seat and eventually gets knocked into the tank. Balls are thrown at the target on the tank and when the lever is hit the participant falls into 500 litres of water, probably not what you need in November or December, but remember its for a great cause.

Lined up for the tank for the Grand Finale on the 19th of December is Wexford Manager/owner Mick Wallace, who has said that if a figure of over one thousand euro is raised by the 19th of December he will stick on his bermuda shorts and be at the mercy of the Wexford Youths Soccer team whom I'm sure will be lining up to take their chances on being the first to dunk their Mentor and Manager. Another candidate lined up is Labour councilor George Lawlor who has also ‘volunteered’ for the dunk tank

Over five well known Wexford celebrities will be dunked in the coming weeks so keep an eye on The Music Factory website and also tune into BEAT 102-103s Leigh Doyle for more info.

We are also going to be on Wexford’s Main Street this week collecting names from people who they would like to see dunked over the next month, so don’t be shy and sign up! Remember turn up each Saturday for the next four weeks at The Music Factory Nightclub to give your support. Two euros from the admission charge and all the proceeds from the sale of the dunk tank balls will go to the Tracie Lawlor Trust for Cystic Fibrosis
